Weekly Schedule

In the Bible, Hebrews 10:24-25 says "And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings as some habitually do, but encouraging each other..." (HCSB) Thus, regular gatherings to share in worship, learning, and conversation focused on Christ's good news are a key part of who we are as a church. We welcome anyone and everyone!

Our Vision

Several years ago Grace Baptist Church in Wood Green began seeking to re-establish a church in Angel, Islington in an old Grade II listed building on Chadwell Street. In that time opportunities have developed and in November, 2015, Regan King started serving as pastor of the church and now lives locally. We desire to see a Bible believing, teaching, and living church growing in Angel. This means that as a church we function on the basis of the Bible and its clear teaching above any cultural fads, trends, or feelings that are so often changing.

While anyone and everyone is welcome to come to our meetings, we believe that to truly be a part of a Christian church (Church membership) an individual must personally repent of sin and place faith in Christ Jesus for salvation from sin and its consequences (Ephesians 2:1-10), professing their faith through baptism as a believer. We want to see repentant, faith-filled, faithful, baptised believers in Christ gathered together to worship God in prayer, song, study of His Word, encouraging one another in following His way. Church is not just something to go to; in its true form it is something which you can be a part of through a right relationship with God that will transform your relationships and give you life as you have never known it.

Our Mission

In Luke 10:27, Jesus highlights what is most important in life. He says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself.” Love God. Love your neighbour. The Angel Church has these commands from God as our primary mission. How do we as a church best fulfil this mission? By fulfilling Christ’s great commission as laid out for His followers in Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV): “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
